Creative Fellowship – Solway Investment Group

The ‘Creative Fellowship’ initiative is a talent showcase for children from rural areas run as a joint partnership between the world-renowned Salzburg Festival and Solway Investment Group.

Established in 2017, it aims to enhance the skill sets supporting a child’s creative potential – qualities we believe contribute to developing a higher quality of life in countries with underprivileged economies. At the moment the geography covers North Macedonia, Ukraine and Guatemala. The purpose of this scholarship program is to teach youngsters from economically challenged areas technical and vocational skills relevant for better employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.

Another focus of this program is to encourage lifelong learning opportunities, including critical thinking, problem solving and creativity, as is nurtured through the arts. Its effectiveness as a tool for education particularly applies in terms of relevance and intercultural integration.

‘Creative Fellowship’ initiative provides children from different countries a chance to meet at the world-known art festival, improve their knowledge of global culture, express themselves through the arts, improve their English language skills and make new friends from all over the world.

The Responsible Business Awards 2021 virtual ceremony will be taking place on 14th October, where it will bring together the most innovative, passionate and dedicated teams challenging the status quo of business to enjoy the latest successes in sustainability and celebrate the best and brightest. The winners will be announced on the night of the Awards. For more information, visit the website at https://reutersevents.com/events/sustainability-awards/
