At Creative Fellowship we’re always happy to meet new people, hear new ideas, and find inspiration in fresh projects. Yesterday, in search of new connections and creativity, we visited a truly inspiring place — an old school transformed into a creative cluster, a co-working space for artists and craftsmen.
We were amazed to meet the jeweler @lara.wu, who guided us through every step of working with silver. We highly recommend her wax-carving workshops, where you can learn to make your own silver rings.
We also had great fun with Liz Melchor (@i.draw.monkeys) — the artist who blends art, coding, and engineering — and even taught us how to draw monkeys with our noses!
Next, we met Nikolaus Prinz, the designer behind the Vienna State Opera’s printed programs; stopped by @animafabrik, a contemporary dance studio (and yes, we totally envied their flooring!); learned from rug maker Julia Winkler (@Entjuligung), who customizes carpets as per your wildest dreams; and ended our visit with Ines Lisser (@ines.lisser) — an architect and sound designer who teaches kids creativity through an imaginative mix of architecture, dance, theater, and drawing.
A huge thank-you to everyone for your warmth, hospitality, and willingness to share the secrets of your artistic processes with us. We’ll definitely be back to see you all again soon!
