As this unforgettable week comes to an end, I can’t help but look back with so much gratitude.
Coming to Canada has been one of the most inspiring experiences I’ve ever had. The biggest lesson I’ve taken away is realizing how beautiful ballet is in all its different forms. Every place has its own way of training, thinking, creating, and moving, and every new perspective teaches you something valuable. I’ve discovered that the more open you are to learning new techniques, corrections, styles, and ways of approaching ballet, the more you grow—not only as a dancer, but as a person.
A huge thank you to Principal Dancer Ryan Thomas for an incredible week of classes. What made his teaching so special was the calmness he brought into the studio. He reminded us that dancing doesn’t have to come from tension—it can come from confidence, clarity, and ease. Beyond being an inspiring teacher, he’s also an amazing person who made every class enjoyable, full of energy, and full of laughter.
This trip has reminded me what it means to truly live, to enjoy the process, and to be myself.
Finally, thank you to my parents for giving me the opportunity to be here, to my teachers for always believing in me, and to Creative Fellowship for all of their support. You really are like a second family.
I’ll leave Canada with a heart full of gratitude, countless memories, and an even greater desire to keep learning wherever ballet takes me.
