Meet Carolina, our new 2026 Bolzano Danza Workshops Fellow! ✨
Carolina is a young dancer from Genoa, Italy, awarded through our four-way collaboration between Bolzano Danza Workshops, Südtiroler Kulturinstitut, Creative Fellowship Foundation, and Premio Vienna Danza (organised by Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Brianza Danza Festival).
Under this selection pathway, the fellowship is granted to a finalist chosen by the Premio Vienna Danza jury, offering one week of intensive workshops and the chance to experience the Bolzano Danza Festival 2026 from the inside.
Carolina’s passion for dance started at the age of four. Even as a young child, she would spend hours independently studying the main variations of classical ballet, dreaming of one day performing in the world’s most prestigious theatres. That dream began taking shape in 2022, when she moved from Genoa to Milan after being admitted to the third year of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
Since then, she has gained significant formative experience at the Royal Ballet in London and was accepted into summer intensives at the Paris Opera, the Joffrey Ballet in New York, and Roberto Bolle’s OnDance. Today, she is in her sixth year at the prestigious Accademia Ucraina di Balletto, continuing her professional growth within a highly inspiring environment.
