We are delighted to announce a new multiparty collaboration between Bolzano Danza Workshops, Südtiroler Kulturinstitut, and the Creative Fellowship Foundation, in partnership with Premio Vienna Danza, organised by the Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Brianza Danza Festival (Italy).
Together, we will offer the Bolzano Danza Workshops Fellowship to one dancer selected by the Premio Vienna Danza jury from among the competition’s top ten finalists. The fellowship is designed for outstanding 15–17-year-old contestants who are residents of EU or EU-candidate countries and compete in the Classical / Neo-Classical or Contemporary Dance categories. The initiative connects international competition achievement with professional training, giving the selected dancer the opportunity to take part in one week of intensive workshops in Bolzano, Italy, during the Bolzano Danza Festival 2026 — one of Europe’s most dynamic summer dance programs.
About the Fellowship
The Bolzano Danza Workshops Fellowship is a Value-in-Kind (VIK) award jointly provided by Bolzano Danza Workshops, Südtiroler Kulturinstitut, and Creative Fellowship Foundation s.r.o. Its total equivalent value does not exceed €1,000 and includes:
– One week of three daily dance classes (15 in total) in the chosen discipline;
– One ticket to attend a Bolzano Danza Festival performance;
– One return air or train ticket to/from Bolzano (up to €350).
The fellowship is intended for the dancer only. It does not include accommodation, meals, guardianship, or financial support for accompanying parents or guardians.
Selection Process
The Premio Vienna Danza jury will select the fellowship recipient from the top ten finalists based on artistic merit, potential, and category alignment. CFF will fully rely on the jury’s professional evaluation.
Priority will be given to participants in Classical / Neo-Classical Dance, though if the jury identifies an exceptional Contemporary dancer, CFF will honour that recommendation.
Award Presentation
The fellowship will be officially presented during the Premio Vienna Danza 2025 competition on Sunday, 30 November 2025, at Teatro Serassi, Villa d’Almè (Bergamo, Italy).
During the award ceremony, all three donors — Bolzano Danza Workshops, Südtiroler Kulturinstitut, and Creative Fellowship Foundation — will be publicly announced and acknowledged.
The winner will receive a gift certificate clearly stating the three institutions as fellowship donors. The certificate and logos will be prepared by CFF for the presentation.
Coordination and Logistics
After the competition, Premio Vienna Danza will connect the fellowship winner (or their parents/guardians) directly with Creative Fellowship Foundation.
CFF will then coordinate with the family to arrange:
– Registration for Bolzano Danza Workshops;
– Confirmation of dance disciplines and workshop dates;
– Attendance at one Bolzano Danza Festival performance;
– Purchase of travel tickets (up to €350).
Neither CFF, Bolzano Danza Workshops, nor Südtiroler Kulturinstitut are responsible for accommodation, meals, or supervision during the stay in Bolzano.
Communication and Responsibilities
This collaboration involves no financial contribution or expenses from Premio Vienna Danza. The competition organisers provide visibility and communication support, including:
– Photos and biographies of the competition jury for the Open Call promotion;
– The winner’s portrait, biography, and performance video for the fellowship announcement;
– The Premio Vienna Danza logo for official materials.
Creative Fellowship Foundation is responsible for all public communications about the partnership and fellowship, including:
– Announcement of the collaboration (post + website article);
