Born in 2007 in North Macedonia, 17-year-old Davor began his dance journey with hip-hop, advancing to national and international competitions. Before high school, he also trained for two years in classical ballet and character dance. Davor is currently a student at the Ilija Nikolovski–Luj State Music and Ballet School in Skopje, specialising in contemporary dance.

In high school, he shifted his focus to contemporary dance and has been training in that discipline for the past three years—making impressive progress despite limited earlier formal education.

For Davor, dance—especially improvisation—is a language of expression and daily resilience. He sees the Bolzano Danza Workshops as an opportunity to engage with international peers, explore new artistic directions, and take the next step toward a professional dance career.

Together with the Bolzano Danza teaching staff, we selected Davor not only for his diverse technical background, but also for his artistic sensitivity, emotional depth, and clear potential for continued growth—qualities that reflect our shared vision for the next generation of dance-makers.

Coming from a modest upbringing in North Macedonia, Davor shows remarkable resilience, introspection, and dedication to transforming dance into both a personal practice and a professional path.

Through the Creative Fellowship, Davor receives full support to attend one week of classes at Bolzano Danza Workshops, including local transfers to Bolzano, half-board accommodation, and on-site guardianship—enabling him to focus entirely on his development as an artist.
