Creative Fellowship’s Ready2Print Exhibition project continues to grow, fostering new collaborations and expanding its reach across Europe and beyond. As the initiative evolves, it not only nurtures young talent but also forms meaningful partnerships with cultural institutions and art communities.
This year saw a remarkable increase in participation from young artists through the open call, with submissions coming from diverse geographies, including North Macedonia, Ukraine, and Uruguay. This reflects the project’s expanding international appeal and its ability to engage artists from different cultural backgrounds.
One of the standout developments this year was the expansion of hosting partners for “The Book of Humanity” exhibition. In addition to last year’s collaboration with Community Art Center Rapunzel.eppan in Appiano/Eppan, Italy, new partners joined the initiative. These include Modarts Performing Arts Center in Thessaloniki, Greece, the NI Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments in North Macedonia, and a community art studio in Mantova, Italy. This multi-national network strengthens the exhibition’s visibility and cultural impact across the region.
The collaboration with Art Community Center Rapunzel.eppan and the Appiano/Eppan town hall in Bolzano, Italy, deepened this year. As part of the town’s Christmas festivities, “The Book of Humanity” exhibition was displayed in an open-air setting. This partnership also introduced weekly creative activities where visitors to the Christmas Feast could engage artistically with the exhibition’s themes, fostering greater community involvement and artistic expression.
Looking to the future, Creative Fellowship is actively seeking to expand its network further. In October, the team embarked on a promotional tour to Montenegro, exploring potential partnerships and venues. The tour included visits to art residencies in Kotor and Manula Island Hotel, the Outdoor Space exhibition in Perast, and the Nikola Durkovic Center of Culture in Kotor. These initial engagements hold promise for future collaborations, and Creative Fellowship hopes that one or more of these institutions will become part of the Ready2Print project in the coming years.
Petra Zublasig, curator of the Ready2Print Exhibition project, is already preparing for 2025 with the development of a new exhibition theme, “The Future is Now.” This forward-looking concept aims to inspire artists and audiences to reflect on the present as a gateway to shaping the future, continuing the project’s tradition of addressing thought-provoking and socially relevant topics.
As the Ready2Print Exhibition project continues to grow, it stands as a testament to the power of collaborative art initiatives in fostering cultural dialogue and providing a platform for emerging artists worldwide.
